Double Gun Dealer Series

The Double Gun Dealer series is a fast paced, adrenaline filled ride you will never forget. It is written in true Tarantino fashion with strong elements of anime influenced action scenes. 6 books in length this series is sure to entertain you as each book and each demon hunter are connected in a way you never expect pushing the story along and drawing you in till the last line. This series is being shopped to top anime companies in Japan and will hopefully be picked up no later than 2014 for release on blu ray. Pick up your copies now and find out why two guns are better than one.

*Warning this series is for 18+. Its genre being hardcore erotica inspired by anime/manga.

Book One: AVA by Rue Volley

Ava is a waitress in a shitty diner in the heart of New York City. Sai is a mysterious stranger who suddenly appears out of nowhere and seems to bring the wrath of hell with him. Sometimes it is better to just keep to yourself, but in Ava's case, this could never be . . . Sai not only brings hell with him, he also brings all the answers to who and what Ava really is and sets her on the path she was destined to walk. Sexy, action packed with smoking hot love scenes, two guns are definitely better than one.

Book Two: SALEM by Rue Volley

For Brian, life is boring...well, except for the hallucinations and lack of sleep, and oh yeah, the job he has a love/hate releationship with.

Brian is a genius in his field, creating new bio weapons for a company he has no love for, but feels trapped in. He is a loner, has been since his childhood, but longs for a relationship of any kind. His sexual needs are met mostly with his vivid imagination, or perhaps they are real. Who can tell? Along with the hallucinations comes a glimpse into the real world Brian is caught up in, one that a beautiful woman, by the name of AVA, is eager to teach him about. "SALEM" is book 2 in the Double Gun Dealer series and takes you into the origin of Brian a.k.a "Salem", letting you know where he came from and where he is going. This series is graphic in nature with violence, intense language, sexual situations and does not come with ice water, but should. 18+

Book Three: LIN by Rue Volley

Marcy has a crappy job at a bar, one she would love to leave, but cannot afford to give up. She also has to endure a creepy neighbor who is a bit too enamored with her, but she just upgraded her life by moving "uptown" as opposed to "down" so the thought of moving again is also a no-go. Then in walks "LONDON", a mysterious stranger with a beautiful accent and all the right things for Marcy...right up until Hell follows him, literally. As things unravel and passions ignite, Marcy finds herself transforming into something she may have always suspected herself of being, explaining so many things in her life. Will she take the plunge and accept her new powers? Will she let LONDON feed her carnal needs? Find out as "LIN" comes into her own in book #3 of the Double Gun Dealer series, where Demon Hunters do it better.

Q&A with Demon Hunter Extraordinaire

Now here’s the fun part . . . I was able to persuade the lovely Izzy for a visit. Here is what she had to say!

Shanna: First I would like to thank you for spending my birthday with me, Izzy. It does make turning a year older worthwhile. I’ll admit you are one of my favorite book girlfriends. You’re sexy, kickass and brutally honest. Tell me, were you always like that?

Izzy: I am sorry, what? I was busy looking at your lips, they are beautiful.

Shanna: *shivers* Well now what was I saying? Oh yes, here is an easy one. Name your top favorite things to do besides killing demons.

Izzy: Loading my gun. Cocking my gun. Shooting my gun. The other two start and end in bed.

Shanna: Name one thing that just makes your blood boil.

Izzy: Being called baby. I hate it and those who…well, they can’t tell you, I fucking killed them.

Shanna: Can't blame you there, it's degrading. Here is a good one, name one thing that makes your toes curl.

Izzy: Mmmmm. Close the door.

Shanna: *saucy grin* As much as I like your train of thought . . . I have a few more questions for you. Do you ever think of Emma?

Izzy: I think of her every single day. I love her dearly and always will.

Shanna: Out of all your kills, does any stand out as being harder or easier than the rest?

Izzy: My first one was probably the hardest, after that it just turned into a normal day for me.

Shanna: Okay last one before I let you go to kick some major demon ass. Heartache and loneliness comes with the title of a hunter. Given the chance, would you do anything differently? Or should I ask would you have rather a different existence?.

Izzy: Sometimes I dream of a house and children. A husband who…who the fuck am I kidding? Without me and the other hunters where would the world be? I mean Demons are some nasty fucks and I have to do my best to kill every single one I encounter. If I could change anything it would be to travel to Hell and shove every single one of them up Satan’s asshole.

Shanna: And that answer is why I love you so! Thanks for keeping me company on my birthday! oxoxox

Blog Tour: Piercing the Fold with Author Venessa Kimball

Welcome! Welcome to our stop on the Piercing the Fold Series Blog Tour!!! We have the lovely Jesca on the blog today and a super awesome giveaway but first let me tell you a little bit about these amazing books! (blurbs taken from Amazon)

One of The Piercing the Fold Series

* New Adult/Mature YA due to depth of unorthodox or "Fringe" scientific theories*

Jesca Gershon-Sera has an average life on the surface. She is a sophomore in college, has a loving family, and holds a part time job at a local bookstore with her best friend. Her life is pretty normal. Except, under the surface she feels like she is losing her mind. Reoccurring nightmares have plagued Jesca for most of her childhood. She thought nothing of them, until they began intensifying and finding their way into her waking hours. Voices, vivid images and supernatural abilities in her nightmares are beginning to seep into her reality.

Ezra Kahn is one of her college professors. Lately, Ezra happens to be everywhere she is; like he is watching her. Along with the slight fear that her professor is stalking her, Jesca fears that she won't be able to handle much more of the insanity that is blurring her reality. On a chance encounter, Jesca confides in Ezra about the crazy happenings. Jesca thought that he would think her to be insane or a freak. But, to Jesca's surprise, Ezra Kahn reveals that she is not a lunatic and that all of the insanity is very real.

Instantly, Jesca's reality is set askew. Ezra reveals that he has been sent to help her. He tells her she is experiencing these events in her life because of her inherited purpose to protect humanity from inconceivable catastrophe.

Jesca's roller coaster begins here! Boasting piercing suspense, pre-apocalyptic adventure, consuming romance, and "reality-based" spirituality and science fiction; Piercing the Fold: Book 1 will pull the reader in for the ride and won't let go!

Book Two of The Piercing the Fold Series

Reality has been set askew…

Jesca Gershon-Sera’s life changed forever in the first installment of the Piercing the Fold series. She discovered that she was not an average college student from Marietta, Georgia. Rather, she had a purpose as a Dobrian guardian to protect our world and its humanity.

Evolving into an illusion…

In Surfacing the Rim: Book 2, the battle between good and evil continues between the Dobrian and Sondian fellowships. The salvation of our world’s existence beyond the impending galactic intersection lays in the hands of a Dobrian team of guardians, including Jesca and her father, Ezra Kahn. The Sondian fellowship’s inhumane corruption of our world is spreading like wildfire, redrawing lines between allies and enemies.

Where bonds are deepened…

Jesca continues to strengthen her relationship with Ezra while her physical attraction to Nate Sera, a fellow Dobrian, intensifies. Adopted son of Sondian Samson Crest, Xander Crest has to come to terms with the corrupt Sondian fellowship he has been aiding unknowingly and forms an alliance with the Dobrian fellowship and the one person he did not want to leave behind in Piercing the Fold: Book 1.

And choices must be made.

Jesca’s fortitude is put to the test when she must make crucial decisions in battle and in love. Jesca and the Dobrian guardian team must stop the chaos the Sondians intend to draw into our world from another galaxy. All the while, Jesca must choose between the predestined link that she shares with Nate and the unresolved attraction she holds for Xander. With unexpected twists and turns, Jesca will face a battle of epic proportions in this pre-apocalyptic installment of Piercing the Fold.

Will Jesca have enough courage to surface the rim of this reality?!

Trudy’s Q&A with Jesca

Okay so now that you know the skinny…how bout we bring out this amazing gal! Please welcome Jesca Gershon-Sera to the blog!

Trudy: Hi Jesca, how are you doing today?

Jesca: Today is a good day

Trudy: Good. I am so glad. You have a very unique name, Jesca. Does it hold any significance to who you are?

Jesca: Actually my entire name has significance.  (she smiles softly)  One night after meeting Ezra Kahn, and learning about my mother, I Googled my name.  (Jesca begins to wring her hands together and a small wrinkle forms between her eye brows; she is thinking).  Jesca is a variant of Jessica.  It is Hebrew and its meaning is “He sees”, “God beholds”. Gershon also has a Hebrew origin.  Its meaning is “foreigner, stranger, or sojourner”. Sera has two origins. The Hebrew origin means “princess” and the Latin origin means “winged angel”.  Combine all of that, Jesca Gershon-Sera, and you have a very clear visual of what significance I will have in the future.

Trudy: That is so insightful! (beams at Jesca) Okay here is a tricky one. You have mentioned you have a Christian upbringing with respect to science. How is this helping you cope with all that you are finding out?

Jesca: Coping is a very gentle way of putting what has overwhelmed my existence.  (Jesca laughs under her breath nervously, and then clears her throat.)  It has helped me come to terms with the fact that science can’t explain everything in our world, our universe. Science explains a lot of what goes on, but then there is a void unless you have respect to the spirituality in our universe. Christianity is just one form of the spirituality that encompasses our universe.  (Jesca stops and smiles) God, I sound like Ezra!

Trudy: Makes a lot of sense when you put it like that. Here is another tricky one. How did you feel learning about your real parents?

Jesca: I felt betrayal, then shock. I kept back tracking through my life to see if there was any evidence of my real parents that I just overlooked because I wasn’t looking for answers at that time.

Trudy: I can see how you would feel like that given the situation. So you did feel betrayed by those you know and trusted?

Jesca: I did. That was my immediate reaction. After my adoptive parents and Ezra gave me more of the backstory, I came to terms with their reasons for keeping secrets from me as a young child. I wasn’t ready to experience those secrets until now.

Trudy: So Nate and you have known each other since Nate was five years old. How important is he in your future?

Jesca: (Jesca looks off dreamily, then back at me) Very important. We are linked, connected, predestined. Not only that, we are becoming more than a predestined link through the trust that we must have for each other. (Jesca looks down at her folded hands). Even though he knows how to piss me off (Jesca snickers) I believe that our link will withstand anything.

Trudy: That is so sweet. Jesca, where do you see yourself in the upcoming months?

Jesca: I can’t begin to think past what has happened a week ago and what will happen in the next few days, let alone the upcoming months. With the impending intersection of our galaxy and the Andromeda galaxy, I fear that chaos can only be expected. And, my purpose will be to surface that chaos and protect the human race.

Trudy: That's understandable. Do you fear for yourself and mankind’s future?

Jesca: I can’t say that I think much about fearing for myself.  I mostly fear not being able to save mankind, our world, and those that mean the most to me.

Trudy: Oh thank you so much for stopping by! It was so nice to pick your brain!

Here is where you can stalk the mastermind behind this fantastic series, Venessa Kimball!
