Twenty years ago the Commander came into power and murdered all who opposed him. In his warped mind, the seven deadly sins were the downfall of society. He created the Hole where sinners are branded according to their sins and might survive a few years. At best.

Now LUST wraps around my neck like blue fingers strangling me. I’ve been accused of a crime I didn’t commit and now the Hole is my new home.

Darkness. Death. Violence. Pain.
Now every day is a fight for survival. But I won’t die. I won’t let them win. The Hole can’t keep me. The Hole can’t break me. I am more than my brand. I’m a fighter.

Jenna Kay's Silver Eagle Blog Tour Presented by Nevermore PR

 Book Blurb:
Silver Eagle

There is a world invisible to Untouched eyes, where demons rule the shadows and prey on the innocents. Gracen Potts lives in this world. Her job is to serve and protect those who are oblivious to the monsters hiding from the light.

As a Silver Mortal Gracen has the power to send these demons back to Hell. With the Silver Eagle's blood running through her veins she feels like nothing can take her down. That is, until she meets a group of Night Vipers who have escaped the Viper clan.

Can Gracen keep doing her job of demon slaying and protect the rebel Vipers?

My review for: Silver Eagle by Jenna Kay
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Shanna Roberson

Wow. What an amazingly addictive read!

Sixteen year old, Gracen Potts isn’t your typical teenager. Don’t get me wrong, she has the overbearing mother, the chatty and slightly easy best friend and absolutely no idea when it comes to boys. In that area, sure she is your average teen just trying to make it from day to day, but that is where the ordinary ends for her.

You see, Gracen carries a secret and job to protect the innocent from the demonic scourge that is threatening to take over her city. She is a Silver Mortal or a Touched human; a purest of hearts human touched by divine power to uphold the protection of humans from the evil of Hell.

But when there is guardians of good, there is bound to be a darker counterpart, Night Vipers.  And like the Silver Mortals, they hold immense supernatural power. So when a Viper stumbles into her life, needing her help, it is safe to say she is a little bit apprehensive. Especially when this Viper, makes her feel so uncontrolled. When her mortal enemy, claims to want to change sides, how can she be certain that this isn’t a trap? How can this Viper, Phoenix win her trust? And what is it about him that she finds so irresistible?

The entire book is one hell of a whirlwind of twists and turns that keep the reader’s attention completely. The heroine, Gracen is the perfect leading lady with her kickassery and her ability to keep most people at bay. Jenna Kay’s style of writing is impossible to put down and I literally can’t wait for book two! I think I just found a new favorite series/writer!!

Cover Reveal for Black & Blue by the lovely Khelsey Jackson

From the bestselling author that brought us Kallos, comes a dystopian romance called Black & Blue. I can’t wait for this one! Releasing August 2013.

Fifty years after President Miller was assassinated and the second civil war ended, life has resumed. The two classes, Blacks and Blues, have to wear bracelets to identify one another and are not allowed to socialize with one another or they will be put into the tower. William Moore is of the Black group and in charge now. He only has one daughter that he has kept a secret. Now that Jamie has just turned eighteen she won’t be a secret for long.

Jamie Moore and her best friend Emily go to a club for her birthday. It isn’t the kind of club her father would approve of. It is called the No B Club; because you have to take off your identifying bracelets to get in. It’s a place where you can mingle with the other class without the hassle. A man with a pierced eyebrow, a lip ring and rich chocolate brown hair catches her eye and she is taken by surprise; after a night together she hopes he wears a black bracelet as she does.

When a new butler starts at the Moore’s residents, Jamie is told to stay in her room, but the new butler calls her downstairs. When Jamie realizes it is her Henry from the night before working as the butler, her heart is broken. She now knows they can’t be together or her father would have him killed.

But what if they could keep their relationship a secret? Could their love beat all the odds against them?

Kallos by Khelsey Jackson

My review for: Kallos by Khelsey Jackson
My rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Shanna Roberson

Wow. Just wow. I couldn’t put this book down! Khelsey Jackson’s unique approach to Greek mythology had me craving more long after I finished it.

Kallos is a meek 16 year old girl just trying to fit in. She isn’t sure of her place in this world until she meets two brothers, Sean and Ian Hunter. And the pain starts, a blinding, soul ripping pain that threats her very existence. With ancient family secrets coming into play, Kallos is thrust into a destiny she isn’t sure she can fulfill. And with two soul mates, vying for her affection and a very painful deification, how will she choose when each has a part of her heart?

I loved Kallos! The story its self  is fast paced and impossible to put down. This is my first time reading Khelsey Jackson, but it won’t be the last! I found myself wanting to read the two prequels to this series throughout Kallos and they are next on my list. Khelsey Jackson’s ability to create wicked chemistry between the characters without pushing the boundaries of YA is a talent in and of itself. Well thought out characters and swoon worthy boys mixing with an incredible heroine; just an amazing series and ending! She definitely leaves you begging for more. Can’t wait to continue Kallos’ journey…(hint, hint)

Cover Reveal: DESCENT (A Hidden Wings Novella) by Cameo Renae

DESCENT (A Hidden Wings Novella) by Cameo Renae
This novella takes it back…way back…to the beginning. A place where Emma’s lineage begins, and where answers lie in unraveling secrets of the past.
Lucifer. His voice was like the softest of velvet and the sweetest of honey, filling the Heavens with the most glorious melodies. His music reverberated through every cell of your being; filling, lulling, and entrancing you with his song and worship.
Because of this, he was praised by all that surrounded him. But, it would also be that constant praise which allowed pride to seep into the tiniest crevices of his heart. Pride slowly turned to jealousy. Jealousy turned to hate, and it was that hate which began to alter and callous his once pure heart.
As time endured, Lucifer’s pride, his jealousy, his hate, and finally his deceit . . . led to THE FALL.
