am not a lover of novellas unless there a number of them linked together to
create a broader tale. I did surprisingly enjoy this one - in fact, I loved it!
It's
not so much the story that hooked me but the narrative. The author has a
wonderful ability to incorporate descriptive text into her work. Having said
that though, the story itself was an interesting twist on the usual witch
story, thus making it intriguing. Out of the many books I've read these past
few days, this one stands out - read it in a hot, steamy bath that's not meant
to be too long and you'll have a perfect escape.
